Why use this method?

The case study method is a form of community-based research.

It describes how a person, project, club or facility benefits its members or users, their families and others in the community, as well as any negative impacts.

It includes facts and figures and recorded stories about what people value. A range of perspectives is sought including members/users, volunteers, staff, family members, others in the local community and associated community leaders.
